Floral dresses for Summer may not be groundbreaking news by definition but there’s definitely something to be said for flower inspired prints that scream I’m “Pixel Perfect” and by that I mean they’re so unbelievably vivid and bright that this ASOS Bandeau Dress fits the bill entirely.
Today’s outfit, which was actually Tuesday’s (just got around to posting it now) was really a mistake. The sun can be very deceiving you know. Sunshine and eating outdoors in the UK, even more so! When will I learn? The first thing I’ll divulge is, I very nearly died of hypothermia, haaaaa. Seriously, it turns out that 18 degrees in the shade can be jolly unpleasant.
That being said, it was nice to catch up with old friends and put the world to rights even if I did it through chattering teeth. We laughed about how us Brits are obssessed with the changing seasons and the sartorial transitions that go hand in hand with them. That’s why my excitement and enthusiasm about floral outfits peak when the sun decides to make an appearance. I’m a sucker for a floral print.
Secondly, I’ll tell you that the UPS man rang the doorball last week and delivered this Cornflower Cross Body Bag from ZARA that I just know is going to go with a plethora of outfits this Summer. At £19.99, why would you not? It’s offering way more than a pocket money price tag. It’s great quality and would rival some of the more upmarket brands for certain.
Lastly, lets hope the sun continues to shine for this wonderful May Bank Holiday weekend that’s coming up. At the moment I’m looking outside, it’s 12 degrees and wazzing it down with rain. One can live in hope though, right?
Have an amazing weekend whatever it is you are doing!
