Life has been pretty hectic so far this year and there’s still so much coming up in the next few months, I’m finding it hard to take stock and keep pace. Working for the family business, keeping up with my blog, finding the time to workout and stay relatively fit, raising two boys, renovating the house…the list goes on!
I head to Palma in a couple of weeks so I’ve got heaps to tick off the to do list before then, sometimes I feel like there just aren’t enough hours in the day. This May bank holiday weekend was just what was needed, I’ve had time to relax with my family, recharge the batteries and have fun with friends before the next few weeks ramp up. That being said, I love being busy and I relish a challenge even more. I’m blessed that I am able to do something I truly love and I have a supportive family who encourage me in every aspect.
Last weekend was my God daughters Holy Communion, it was such a lovely day, the sun shone and celebrations were aplenty. I definitely made the right choice with this Ted Baker soft blossom dress. Entirely approriate for a church event and then onto back garden fun and games thereafter. I’m a sucker for a romantic, floaty dress and I’m all over these ice cream pastel shades this season – they’re really something else.
I fell in love with this soft blossom Ted Baker dress as soon as I laid my eyes on it. At £239 it’s a pricey wardrobe addition, but I know I have at least 2 maybe 3 occasions this year when I will be able to wear it, so for that reason I was happy with the investment. And besides, every womans wardrobe needs to have an ultra feminine piece, and beautifully feminine is exactly how I felt. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how poppin’ this pink is in this dress too? Heavenly!
I matched it up with this darling mauve ZARA belt bag. I can see I’m going to be using this bag a lot this Summer! And some coral colour contrasting earrings from Kenneth Jay Lane. Another thing you’ll learn about me is that I’m also a lover of dangly earrings. The bigger the better.
I’m raving about this bag. Never, in a million years would I have thought I’d be expressing my love of a fanny pack, but there we go! It’s the perfect size and addition to this outfit leaving me hands free. There’s nothing more annoying in my opinion of having to constantly hold a clutch bag whilst juggling a glass of wine. That’s skills right there.
Ted Baker ‘s dress collection has been inspired by the extravagant Royal Palace and the majestic garden, incorporating tradition and spring notes along with refreshing silhouettes. The designs vary from asymmetrical silhouettes, soft ruffle details and elegant pleating making this another beautiful collection that deserves attention. Whatever it is you’re looking for, I’m sure you’ll find something to suit your occasion.
